The Finality of Missing

May 19, 2012 in Celebrities, Entertainment, Review

It took ten episodes for Becca to find her son and have her revenge on suspect zero. I was going to ask the question before watching that episode. What happens when she finds her son? Where does the show go from there?

Well, I believe it has been canceled. But, it left off with a new mystery. From what we have learned from the show, never believe anything you see.

So, her car rolls down the street and runs into a parked car. There is a bullet hole in the windshield, blood on the seat. But, she’s not in the car. So, I think this is a false direct. She’s not dead. But, everyone will think she is.

I originally thought the show was going to be about a retired CIA agent coming out of retirement to find people who have turned up missing. I didn’t think it would be ten episodes about her finding her son.
The thing is that now that I have a renewed interest in finding out what’s going on with Becca, I won’t be able to find out at all. I’m really getting to the point where it doesn’t do me any good to get into a show because they’ll yank it at what seems to be the most interesting point.

So, let’s get back to that point as if it even matters. Where was the gun shot? No one heard it and she wasn’t parked that far away. Again, where is she? If she’s dead, she would have been in the car. Someone could have carried her away, but why would they do that? Do they need a dead body for a reason?

So, there are unanswered questions and there is no way to get the answer. That is unless some miracle takes place and executives at the network read this article. If they can feel my pain, my sense of loss, they will continue the show for me and many others just like me.

I am now wondering through the desert with no direction, no idea where I am. Will the network gods save me? We will have to see.

Speaking of missing, it appears actor Nick Stahl came up missing for a few days. It appears, his mother is not a CIA agent. So, that could have turned out bad. Don’t worry though! He resurfaced when he contacted some friends via email. It’s this whole new technology the CIA uses to send messages instantly to one another.

Ashley Judd’s Son Abducted…Oh, In The Show

March 17, 2012 in Celebrities, Entertainment, Review, Television

Let’s try some word association exercises.  I say a word and I try to come up with something associated with it.

Ashley Judd…

High Crimes, Double Jeopardy, Kiss the Girls

Those are the kinds of movies we love when she’s in them.  So, what could a person really do if they cared that much about us?  What could they give us if they really wanted to give us something special?

Missing, the new drama series starring Ashley Judd. Imagine a soccer mom who has been raising her child by herself for the last ten years turns highly trained vigilante when her son is abducted. Have they actually thought to give us that kind of action with our favorite actress…every week?

It’s not my birthday and Christmas is already over.  So, what’s the occasion? You must really like us.  You really, really like us!

With great action and realistic plot structures, not that ex-CIA operative type shows can ever seem at all realistic, I can actually get into the show. I don’t feel myself drawn to pick out the ridiculous or the outlandish flaw that unravels the entire story. I’m in the action and wondering what’s going to happen next.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, Ashley Judd pulls another trick out of her sleeve. The deeply interwoven issues of the story aren’t solved in an hour. Imagine that! A show that actually acknowledges the human tragedy that unravels itself for us mere mortals can’t be solved within the structure of three commercial breaks, just before the show that’s due to come on next.

Find out why Ashley hasn’t solved her problems in the pilot of Missing and get on board with the rest of us! It’s what you’ve been waiting for all your life!

The Most Beautiful Woman in the World Award

April 8, 2011 in Celebrities, Commentary, Entertainment

the most beautiful woman in the worldThe Most Beautiful Woman in the World has been awarded.  It was a long process to make the decision.  But, the panel finally did narrow the field.  The results were published and now we’d like to know how you feel on the subject.  Please feel free to voice your opinion.  The world deserves to know!

You may choose one of the selections listed.  But of course, you can add anyone you want.  For purposes of keeping with the integrity of the award, I reiterate the following disclaimer:

“As you can see, these ladies are not ranked from one to three as being the most beautiful woman in the world. They are simply the most beautiful woman in the world. They cannot be put in any kind of order at all.

“Furthermore, it was very difficult to narrow my choices down to just these three. But, I did it! I finally narrowed my choices down to only those whom I absolutely consider to be the most beautiful woman in the world.

“This panel acknowledges the fact that there is indeed a very beautiful woman in the world missing from this year’s choices. There are quite a few in fact including but not limited to farmer’s daughters, nuns, librarians, teachers, ex-girlfriends, sisters and my daughter, who are not included for legal reasons concerning my being on the panel, being its only panel member and to avoid any allegations of bias. It is only due to a sheer mental meltdown after making my selection that the rest of the most beautiful women in the world were not included.”

I will further reiterate:

“My adoration for women is actually a rather innocent one if I am allowed to judge myself. I will be more than happy to outline my criteria that define my own judgment, because it’s not righteous to be one’s own judge. But, I think I will let my results speak for themselves.”

Who do you think is the most beautiful woman in the world? You can choose one of my selections or add your own.
